DFNDR Armor® lightweight side plates offer the same level of threat protection as their torso counterparts, with key features including:

All threats are tested at muzzle velocity. This armor system is independently tested to the NIJ 0101.04 protocol at NIJ Certified Ballistic Labs in a Stand-Alone Configuration. The ratings are as follows:
