The DFNDR Armor® Rifle Rated Level III+C backpack shield is designed to defeat the Mild Steel Core Chinese and PS Ball Russian 7.62x39 AK-47 threats.  This system also defeats standard lead core .308, 7.62, .223 and 5.56 threats at a drastically low weight.  Our Level III+C rifle rated hard armor panels are designed to various dimensional options to provide the highest area of coverage within your backpack. All threats specified are tested at muzzle velocity and are listed in the ‘threat profile’ table below which describes the rated ammunition this armor system will defeat.

The DFNDR Armor® Level III+C system is engineered with the highest grade of ballistic materials; an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fiber, bound with a resin matrix to make it a hard stand-alone armor system and equipped with Spall-Tek to further reduce deflection of projectile fragments. This armor can be inserted into almost any backpack (measure your backpack, bag, or purse to ensure optimal fitment). 

The DFNDR Armor® Level III+C system is independently tested to the NIJ 0108.01 protocol at NIJ Certified Ballistic Labs.
